Bob Sievers sculpts in marble, alabaster, acrylic, and bronze. His favorite forms are stylized flowers, animals and people, which he usually executes in carved, polished marble.
He has exhibited his sculptures in several major juried shows. Permanent displays of some of his large marble sculptures are in the CU University Memorial Center in Boulder, a bookstore in Colorado Springs, and the Health Sciences Center in Denver. Many of his sculptures are now in private collections.
Bob Sievers is a professor, pharmaceutical scientist, environmental chemist, inventor and co-founder of 2 companies. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Arts and Humanities Assembly of Boulder County. Dr. Sievers was twice elected as a Regent of CU to represent the voters of the Second Congressional District.
